Hello everyone,
Again, I write having only a few minutes to write, a few words of what I have been doing the last couple weeks. I have been putting some Christmas lights up on the house and setting up the tree in the house. It was fun to have the kids help, Cody and Kiethen liked the little tree that I put in their room. I hung some lights in their room for their night light. Cody sure likes it, Kiethen likes it dark better.

This week we sold my horse I am kind of sad, but happy that she is going to go to a girl that will take good care of her. Now next spring we will have to look for me another horse. Well have to see what spring will bring.

While we were in Utah for Thanksgiving, I had my sister Rahndi take some family pictures. They turned out really good Thank You Rahndi. It was fun playing games and visiting with everyone down there.

Busy Life

Hello Everyone,
It has been a while since I last blogged. Things have picked up the pace since the last time that I posted. Oh well that is life when your kids get busy. Chantry has been gone a lot and has had his computer so I haven't been able to work on our blog. We are at my Mom and Dad’s in Utah for Thanksgiving with our family, David and his family are coming down as well.

This last couple of days I have been taking advantage of the nice weather. I put the Christmas lights on the house. It was fun to see Cody get so excited about seeing all the lights light up. I have been fighting a rodent problem. A little mouse decided it likes it inside our house better than outside. I can't stand mice, it is so frustrating to try and catch it.

Work is picking up for the Holidays. I always love this time of year, being with family, and remembering all the things that we used to do. We are looking forward to making some new memories this year. May everyone have a wonderful Thanksgiving and look forward to Christmas.

Chicago

This is our trip to Chicago. Wow it has been an interesting experience to see the difference between the day life and the night life. When the sun goes down all sorts of people come out. We were walking and I had this lady come up to me and mumble something and I thought that she was going to slug me, cause I made eye contacted with her. Scary!!! We were able to go on a tour bus, a double-Decker. We saw all the main sites and didn’t have to drive in all the traffic, so I would say it was well worth the money.
The kids are staying with Grandma and Grandpa Chard. They are having a lot of fun, roasting hot dogs, marshmallows, and just enjoying the vacation from Mom and Dad.
The pizza here is really great and it is different (DEEP DISH). Chantry and I ordered a small one, 10 inch, and we could only eat half of it. When they say good food in Chicago, they mean it.
We went to the Brookfeld Zoo, it was ok, but we think it would have been better with the kids. At the zoo there was a parade with bunch of kids dressed up in there “Halloween Costumes” and they were so dang cute. I think my favorite part of the Z00 was the little kids running around. Colorado Springs Zoo was 10 times better than this one.

Update 10-19-08

We are in Chicago, IL for a business trip. Jamie and I were able to come here for a few days, before the convention. We have had an experience.
